CNC Programmer/Prod/Proc Equip-Supt II

Meyer Utility Structures, an Arcosa Subsidiary, is currently seeking a CNC to join our manufacturing facility in Steele, AL.
As a CNC Programmer, you will develop, evaluate, and improve the production processes and methodologies used to manufacture new and existing products.
This position will focus on CNC programming and provide problem-solving support to production.
What you'll do:
Develop, maintain and improve manufacturing processes to meet customer requirementsEffectively create and troubleshoot CNC programs for the designated machinesProvide CNC expertise to support the manufacturing floorProvide support to the design team to improve quality, manufacturing issues, and cost performanceSupport quality systems and customer certification initiatives by participating in project teams for continuous improvementFollow established safety and environmental procedures to ensure a clean, safe work environmentHelp develop, maintain and improve departmental measuresPerform other duties as requiredWhat you'll need:
Associate's degree in Manufacturing Technology PreferredMinimum 3 years of CNC programming experienceDemonstrated ability to manage multiple projectsSolid Works experience desiredExperience in Robotic weld programming preferredComprehensive knowledge of metals manufacturing and toolingDemonstrated ability to work well in a team environmentDemonstrated skill in problem-solving techniques, including team problem solving Recommended Skills Business Process Improvement Computer Programming Problem Solving Programmable Logic Controllers Project Management Team Working Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
